To bring value to the ACH participants by providing a low cost net settlement facility and ensure a smooth periodic settlement through appropriate overview and controls. To keep ACH participants informed about arising issues and ongoing developments within the industry that may impact their Revenue Accounting departments.

History

The Airlines Clearing House, Inc. was established in 1943 by 18 Charter/Stockholder Member Airlines.  The first ACH settlement took place in January 1944 with interline receivable billings totaling $2 million.  Today, ACH Participants’ settle over $12 billion in receivable billings through the ACH.
